Kenny produced two amazing Olympic Finals' paddles to win a Bronze Medal in the K1 1000m and Gold in the K1 500m!
This is a reward for his talent, dedication, hard work and sacrifices made to one day be the best in the world. Congratulations Ken and also coach Jimmy Owens.

Currumbin Creek Canoe Club is proud that Kenny is our first home grown Olympic kayak paddler and Olympic Champion. We have fond memories of his development years with us, his pleasant manner and the commitment and tenacity he has displayed. It is also wonderful to see the support he has had from family Margaret,Trevor, Fran and Bernadette.
